CONCESSIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE |

NOTE: Maximum Shoe Size "Liteshod" (3/8"
by 3/4") or keg, barefoot horses allowed. No
“Plantation” Shoes allowed. No pads, bands, action
devices. No trailers on shoes to exceed 1/2" in length
- NO trailers on keg shoes. Bits - no shanks over 8
1/2". IJA rules apply (see below). This show is governed
by the current rules of the Independent Judges
Association. |

NOVICE (rider): No more than 3 blues for RIDER in rail
career (gaited only) |
YOUTH
- 17 and under |

Stallions 2 y.o. and over MUST be shown in a bridle, BY
AN ADULT. Bridle or halter optional for other adult
horses |
2 y.o. horses may not show in back-to-back classes and may
not be shown in more than 3 classes per day |
The GWHA abides by the USDA’s HPA |
All OGB classes are open to any gaited
horse |
MH
= Mountain Horse(all varieties) |
The use of hoof bands, tape on hooves,
action devices, or use of any type of plastic wrap on
the leg of a horse at any time on the show grounds will
disqualify that horse from exhibiting at this show |
Barrels and
Poles: Cavessons, whips, crops, and bats are prohibited.
Helmet Required |
Proper Tack must
be utilized, English or Western but not mixed. Clothing
and tack may be casual, but appropriate for the
discipline |
Show management reserves the right to
dismiss any participant or spectator from the grounds
who exhibits bad sportsmanship or neglects or abuses
their horse(s) |
